About the Filmmakers


Ryland Young Mcintyre (writer/Director)

Ryland McIntyre is a Writer and Director who lives in and works out of New York City. Prior to finishing Pleasure Ridge Park, he served as the Creative Director of TV and Video for NYLON Media, where he worked on hundreds of digital videos, shorts and web-series collectively—two of which are currently in the television development stages with Propagate Content and Bunim + Murray Productions. He has also worked with various commercial production companies including Tool of North America, Big Block Live, and Third Story Films. He is currently developing his first feature length film, a psychological thriller set in the same narrative universe as Pleasure Ridge Park. 

Tommy Schell (Producer)

Tommy Schell is a Producer and Actor that is based in New York City. His work has been seen throughout the city and has included productions at Broadway’s legendary Gershwin Theatre and the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Gravitating toward film, he began working with McIntyre early in the creation of Pleasure Ridge Park, and together they are continuing their collaboration through the development of a feature length film. 

Marie Buckingham (Producer)

Marie Buckingham is a Producer who lives in Brooklyn, New York. She has worked in production management on several commercial photo and video shoots in New York City. Marie currentlyworks for Sidewalk Labs, an Alphabet company focused on urban technology innovation and digital product development improving quality of life in cities worldwide. Passionate about climate and sustainability, she studied Environmental Management at Indiana University and holds an MPA in environmental policy and science from Columbia University. 

Zach STOLTZfus (Director of Photography)

Zach Stoltzfus is a cinematographer based out of New York City. In addition to Pleasure Ridge Park, he recently shot Marc Katz's People Are Becoming Clouds, which premiered at Tribeca International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2016 and was picked up for distribution by both Canal Plus and the New Yorker Screening Room. His films have screened at the Atlanta Film Festival, the Lucerne International Film Festival, and the Moscow International Film Festival, among others. His work has taken him across the world — from Shanghai to Accra, and Helsinki to Rio de Janeiro — where he strives to find the subtle beauty and meaning no matter the location. 


Chad Blevins (Production Designer)

Chad Blevins is a production designer who has an extensive portfolio that includes a range of narrative, musical, commercial and animated shorts and features. Chad received a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Indiana University and a MFA in film, video and media arts at Temple University. Blevins was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, and subsequent to his formal education, returned there to support the nascent local film community. 

Emily schor (Costume Designer)

Emily Schor is a costume designer and stylist based in Brooklyn, New York. Her film credits include major motion pictures such as The End of The Tour and Every Secret Thing as well as 2015’s award-winning feature, James White. She is the co-owner and creative director of william+irving, a new national-scale retail venture. 

Jake Lane (Editor)

Jake Lane is an editor based in Brooklyn, New York. He has worked in production and post- production on a wide variety of projects in New York City spanning the past five years, including award-winning and critically-acclaimed feature Mediterranea (official selection Cannes Film Festival), Morgan Spurlock’s Critic’s Choice-nominated Rats, and the Netflix original Mercy. 

Kathy Campbell (Casting Director)

Kathy Campbell is the owner and agency director of boutique agency, Heyman Talent in Louisville, Kentucky. The largest agency in the tri-state area, Heyman Talent, Louisville features six dedicated staff members that book for print, on-camera and voice-work on a local and national scale. The agency boasts a wide-range of current and former talent and notably discovered and originally managed Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook, The Hunger Games franchise).
